Maestro Tammy Vollom-Matturro is presenting a program of exceptional selections sure to please everyone.First off is Franz von Suppé's exhilarating Overture from the Light Cavalry operetta. Next there's Maurice Ravel's hauntingly beautiful Pavanne for a Dead Princess and Vaclav Nelhybel's Movement for Orchestra. And then Georges Bizet's ever popular Suite No. 1 from Carmen, Rossini's Overture from Tancredi, and the rousing Radetzky March by Johann Strauss Sr. Finally for an amazing finale, and my personal favorite, Danse Bacchanale from Samson et Dalila by Camille Saint-Saens.

Performances are Saturday night, April 19, 7:30 at the Mariner Theater in Homer, and Sunday afternoon, April 20, at the Renee C. Henderson Auditorium in Kenai. Tickets are available in Homer at Etude Music Studio and the Homer Bookstore and in the Kenai/Soldotna area at Charlotte's and River City Books. General Admission is $18.
